The Precision Medicine Conference will take place in Riga on May 22 at the University of Latvia, House of Science (Jelgava’s street 3, Riga).
The aim of the conference is to explore precision medicine trends and opportunities which covers topics like big data and analytics for life quality improvement, ICT and technology impact on precision medicine, research and university role in biomedicine development, preventions and next-generation national health system.
Precision medicine is an emerging approach for disease treatment and prevention considering individual variability in genes, environment, and lifestyle of each person. In the conference, the first time in Latvia precision medicine topic will be discussed in such broad coverage and the global level experts will share their passion for innovation and technology used to improve quality of life. The participants will hear about the latest research, techniques, processes, regulation and technologies in precision medicine. Medicine industry experts, IT specialists, policymakers, researchers, entrepreneurs, other direct and indirect related professionals will have the possibilities to meet and exchange ideas with like-minded professionals who are shaping the future of healthcare.
The conference is organized by the Ministry of Economics and Investment and Development Agency of Latvia.
The number of participants is limited to 350 people. Participation is free, subject to prior registration until 20 May.
